Our mission is to provide quality holistic wellness to families, individuals, and children with special needs in an inclusive environment. We provide activities that ensure ALL are ABLE, not just some.
Our organization is about bringing awareness to the dire need of inclusivity in the special needs community. Often, we travel through life and stay close to the things and people we know. How great would life be if we were able to meet more people from other walks of life?! Neurodivergent, Neurotypical, Differently-abled, and Abled children should be able to co exist and learn from each other without judgement.
Back To School IEP/504 & Vision Statements
Throughout the Fall/Winter of 2023, our focus is spreading awareness, answering questions, fostering unity and collaborating with The Nickelson Project. The Nickelson Project works to provide families advocate services that take them from "Chaos to Collaboration". Our plan is to educate parents and educators alike, on the need and importance of having an Individualize Educational Plan (IEP) for children experiencing an exceptionality. IEPs and 504 accommodations are federal binding contracts and must be enforced.
We launched our active community 1 April 2023 and we are committed to doing the work to ensure an absolute culture shift is made. We are actively working on creating space in society where all children on the spectrum feel accepted, safe, and heard.
IEP Advocate Scholarship Fund
Although we would love to have all donations made directly to the foundation, we understand the need for some folks to have what we call and hand to hand exchange. No matter how you choose to donate to The Urban Indigo Foundation, we are always in a place of gratitude. Your generous donations help support at cost program sponsorship, community activities, supplies for children, and the cost to keep this website secure and up to date!
Partnering with double good allows us to receive 50% of all proceeds without an out of pocket cost to participate.

To achieve optimal wellness, one must apply it towards every possible endeavor. You can apply a wellness approach towards your environment, community, career, belief systems, physical activities, self care, healthy eating, self esteem, and creative activities. Applying wellness in your everyday life will allow you to achieve your full potential and live with passion and purpose.

Our goal is to build bridges in partnering communities by providing services and educational programs that raise inclusion awareness for children with special needs. We wish to foster friendships and kinships through play.
We also seek to provide financial support to families in underserved communities to potentially lessen the economic burden of an Autism diagnosis.
